  1. What is Yiplee?

    Yiplee. Yiplee is a free service that brings you high quality local live music experiences daily, at a sweet discount. We are not another coupon site, but we do use group buying technology to bring you the deals. The deal only happens if enough fans buy tickets and we will randomly have a firesale, where we give you extra big discounts, free swag or music, and other partner incentives as a thank you for opening our emails.

  2. What types of music do you cover?

    We cover all types of music, but it will depend on your city. We have a lot of rock, acoustic, folk, and jazz.

  3. How do I know the music and venue are any good?

    You decide. You can listen to a track or play a video (where available) on our site and then decide. We only feature artists that we think are high quality, not your neighbor who just bought a harmonica. We also verify the music venue before considering it for a feature. The third way is through you! We let you rate your experience at the venue and with the artist. This determines whether we invite the artists and venue back. In the future we will be making previously featured venues and artists available on our site for special deals.

  4. I like today's music deal - how do I get it?

    Just click "BUY" before the offer ends. If the minimum number of people sign up, we'll charge your card and send you a link to print your Ticket. If not enough people join, no one gets it (and you won't be charged), so invite your friends to make sure you get the deal!

  5. How can I pay for Yiplee?

    Yiplee supports paypal for secure payment processing. None of your credit card details are stored on our site.

  6. I bought a Ticket - how do I use it?

    Once you're charged, you'll receive an email with a link to sign in and print your Ticket. Take the ticket to the venue on the night of the show and your set! We recommend calling the venue before showing up to confirm any last minute details.

  7. What happens if the Concert Deal doesn't reach it's required minimum number of buyers?

    If not enough people sign up, then Yiplee and you won't be charged. Better luck next time! So if you really want the Deal, be sure to either beg or threaten your friends .

  8. How is Yiplee Different than those "Coupon" Sites?

    We are musicians to start. We like to think of ourselves as a Music Discovery Service. Our goal is to connect you to new music, new artists, and new music venues. We only provide you with quality music you probably never heard, but should. The discount and bonus deals are meant to entice you to take a chance on something new.

  9. How is Yiplee Different than those Ticketing Services?

    The difference is simple, we don't push 50 different shows to a bunch of big named acts that our label tells us to. We send you one concert deal at a time. Our concert deals promise you a unique local live music experience at a local venue, high-quality local (or under-the-radar) artists, and exlcusive add-on services not available elsewhere (a discounted signed album, first beer free, downloadable deals, etc..)

  10. What is the "Triple-Win" Philosophy?

    Triple-Win means that the fan, the artist, and the venue all win in order for us to succeed as a company. The fan gets to learn about a great new artist, and venue. The artist gets a full house to play to and new fans, and the venue gets a packed house, a new artist to love, and new fans. We believe in creative commerce and that business doesn't need a winner and loser.
